Our flagship annual conference, networking event and awards ceremony, brings together the whole highways community and celebrates the amazing work that is taking place in our sector.
You will have the opportunity to learn about new innovations and technology, share experiences, receive updates from the DfT and network across the two days in the glittering setting of the Ballroom at the Winter Gardens.
It is important to us to ensure our events are accessible to the whole highways community.
We do this by offering fully funded places for public sector delegates, including accommodation, transport to and from the hotels and food and refreshments. This is funded by revenue generated from sponsorship and exhibitor sales.
And it works. Strictly Highways 2023 saw more than 400 delegates attend over the two days, with representation from more than 70 different highway authorities from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as representation from the Department for Transport (DfT), academia, industry associations, the supply chain and media.
Our CPD certified seminar programme features a range of interactive panel debates and presentations focused around our 4 pillars – collaboration, innovation, net zero and skills and includes a variety of speakers from across public and private sector.
We are proud to host the coveted Special Recognition Awards on behalf of Department for Transport (DfT). Established by the late Steve Berry OBE, the Department for Transport’s former head of highways maintenance, innovation and resilience, these awards recognise companies and individuals who have gone the extra mile to deliver change in the sector.
